Before I turned 50 I decided I wanted to get in better shape…not just
lose weight, but be really fit, so on the recommendation of a friend I
hired Jason. Well, he did that for me and at 52 I'm in my best shape
ever and have never felt this good before! In years past I've run
marathons and smaller races but I had to give it up because my knees
started hurting. I was at 10min miles then but now, because my core,
legs and really ALL my muscles are so much stronger, I'm back to
running and approaching 8min miles! From other friends I know that he
trains, his ability to fine tune and challenge each person is one
reason he is such a special trainer. I'll definitely be working with
Jason for a long time as I never tire of having other women stop and

While vacationing in Australia, I tandem skydived with an instructor. A
wind shear threw our parachute off course and we were hurled to the
ground. As a result, I suffered a compound fracture (when bone pierces
skin) of the right femur. After spending 4 months with a physical
therapist, becoming disgruntled and dissatisfied with the rate of
progress, I contacted Jason. Within 2 months I went from hobbling
slowly up stairs with a severe limp to jogging up the stairs without a
limp. I now have the ability to balance and stabilize myself once
again.

Jason is always affable, full of love and he spreads positive energy
to anyone else around him. I wanna say a few words about what I gained
after I've met him besides having a marvelous person as a friend!
I am (was) the kind of a girl that needs to be inspired to work out. I
enjoy it but I've never felt at all motivated to work out before I've
met Jason. Jason was so patient and tolerant that he has stood for all
my anti-professional attitudes like cutting our sessions and being
late... It was the reflection of his respect to his stuff and his
professionalism that I, a kind of a girl, who did not have the energy
and desire to working out, used to wake up 5.30 am almost every morning
for our working out session at 7.30 am and put forward to do this as a
force of habit and a lifestyle. I always looked forward to out training
sessions. No matter I felt when I enter the gym, I always had a great
work out with him. Jason is very much concerned for his client's
individual health and fitness needs. He has always been very
professional in every conceivable way like his knowledge, attention to

Before I met Jason, I could not walk for more than five minutes before
my feet and back started to hurt and I would have to sit down. I also
had poor posture and no flexibility. I had seen two podiatrists, two
rheumatologists, and a chiropractor, all of which resulted in a
marginal reduction of pain. I'd even been to the ER twice because of
such intense pain and neither visit seemed to make much difference.
Then I met Jason.
With one session, I felt an instant reduction of my back and feet pain.
He diagnosed the cause of my pain and showed me what I was doing wrong
that was actually contributing to my pain. Through regular sessions
with Jason, I learned how to strengthen the key muscles and increase
the flexibility in other muscles to improve my balance, increase my
flexibility, improve my posture, tone my muscles and most importantly,
reduce my pain significantly. Plus, I lost 10 pounds as a bonus with
his nutrition guidelines.
Now, I have a custom tailored fitness regimen that I can use for the
rest of my life. I am more in tune with my body and what needs to be
strengthened or stretched. I eat more healthily and have more energy. I
dropped from a 10 to a 4 in clothing sizes and feel much more
confident.
Jason helped me to help myself for the rest of my life.

When I decided to enlist the services of a Personal Trainer, I had
reached a point of serious self-loathing. I hated my mid-40 year old
body—at least the half of it below the waist. I had dieted, exercised
and scolded myself to no avail. I wasn't necessarily overweight or out
of shape---just not in the shape and at the weigh I pictured as ideal.
My options were liposuction (potentially risky and prohibitively
expensive) or professional fitness training (safe and affordable). I
opted for the safe, affordable choice.
Throughout the past couple of years Jason has done more for my
self-esteem and fitness than I could have ever accomplished on my own.
I noticed changes in my body after the first month, along with
increased energy and strength, and reduced stress.
Jason not only instructs, he LISTENS. He is acutely aware of my ability
as well as my limitations and works within those parameters. I can't
thank Jason enough for the remarkable changes in me, inside as well as
out, and highly recommend his special balance of head and heart that he
lends to his training sessions.

I have participated in athletics for years and have always considered
myself to be in shape. However, I never achieved the lean body I
thought I deserved for working out regularly and eating healthy. I had
tried numerous workouts and diets from magazines, but they never seemed
to make a difference. I eventually gave up on looking thin and figured
I just had to accept my genetics and the body I had.
After moving to San Diego, I decided I would give my body one more
chance and get a personal trainer. I figured that if this did not make
a significant difference then I would accept looking athletic without
looking lean.
Jason initially had me try workouts around the track which incorporated
different plyometrics, but this began to aggravate my knees. Jason was
creative in coming up with other ways to challenge me that were less
strenuous on my knees. After 3 weeks of training with Jason, using
weights, an exercise ball and/or a medicine ball, my body fat
percentage dropped 3%. My pants were too big in the waist and hips, my
face looked thinner, and I had good muscle definition without looking
bulky. When my personal training sessions were over, I looked as lean
as I was in high school.
Jason always took the time to answer my lists of questions and he was
able to explain the reasoning behind different exercise philosophies
and the purpose of each exercise. In addition to teaching me about
athletic training, Jason helped me establish a diet plan that included
6 meals a day, in order to boost my metabolism and energy levels while
decreasing my overeating. Jason is a very knowledgeable trainer who
takes the time to research new techniques and workout programs so he
can continue to challenge his clients.

Training with Jason was such a positive experience. Because I was new
to weight training I wanted to start off right. Jason really listened
to what I wanted to accomplish and based on my results, I can say he
definitely knew what I needed to do to get there. What consistently
impressed me about Jason was the way he stayed completely focused on me
during our training sessions. He watched every rep of every set to make
sure I was getting the most out of every movement. That kind of
attention really paid off. I was way more than just pleased with my
results. In addition to all the training info, the nutritional guidance
Jason provided was absolutely right on. I'm really looking forward to

I went to a singles ball on Saturday night and was able to wear a
slinky dress that showed off my curves. I received so many compliments
on how good I looked that it really made me feel good. Now I know my
curves are genetic, but getting them to appear from behind the bulges
is your doing!
I got asked out by several guys and have two dates lined up for the
next week!
So, I just wanted to say "thanks" for your part in all that - it was
great to have the confidence to wear that kind of dress.
